In this position, you will oversee financial budgets, coordinate contractors, and manage the construction process. You will also be in charge of organizing schedules, tracking inventory, and ordering and managing materials.Responsibilities:Compile and plan budget, cost estimates, and other financial estimatesCoordinate, plan, and manage schedules for contractors and subcontractorsDevelop construction project with architect, engineers, and trade workersOrder and manage materials and equipmentProvide internal reporting and projections for inventoryOversee and supervise construction project progress and provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustmentsEnsure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are metPerform the tasks of a cost estimatorEnsure that projects are completed on time and within budgetQualificationsRequirements and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field from an accredited universityThree years’ experience as a construction manager or in a similar position in construction managementAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyAble to manage team of employees and multiple projectsExperienced at compiling and following strict budgetsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAccurate and precise attention to detailGoal-oriented and organized leadershipAble to analyze problems and strategize for better solutionsIn-depth understanding of the construction industrySelf-motivated and self-directedComputer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software preferredOrganized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedulesKnowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulationsAble to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customersAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
